Angel Beats!

Hey Guys! So, I'm getting tired of Doctor Who (also thinking of a rap…still…) ... (and I know I'm shunning myself for it too for getting tired of Doctor Who). But I also watch anime, so I'm doing a linked post with Emma Greiner on Angel Beats!. It's an anime that she convinced me to watch, and it's pretty good. I hope you enjoy this post, and I will post about Doctor Who again sometime soon (might be the rap...).

Angel Beats! is basically an anime (there might be a manga, but I'm not sure. Wow I'm using a lot of parentheses), that is about a dimension that helps people pass on after they have died on Earth. The main character is a guy who has amnesia at the beginning of the show, but overcomes it with the help of some friends that he meets. I'm pretty sure I watched the show at dubbedepisodes.org, but i'm not completely sure. Here's a link to the episodes that even works on my school computer! (I think...)

The whole show is the main characters' experiences and how he helps the resistance and his friends to move on from their lives on Earth. Don't be fooled by my one sentence summary, it really is pretty good.

It's a great anime that I totally recommend any anime watchers and manga readers out there reading my blog to watch (or read... still not sure if there is a manga, and I'm to lazy to look).

I am posting about this particular anime, even though I don't think it's the best, because of my friend Emma Greiner's reaction when we sat and watched the end of the show together.

Emma had wanted me to watch this anime for awhile, and when I finally got around to it, she was SUPER excited. However she didn't like the ending to this anime very well, and warned me against watching it alone. So we set up a day to meet up and watch the last couple of episodes together. It was pretty fun.

But that's not the best part. The show ended sadly. I mean it was tear breaking, tearing your heart, and burning your hopes and dreams kind of ending. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little but still, it was sad.

The reason this post is here because I didn't cry. Emma cried, and she had already seen this anime. I just sat there and watched it to the end. Then I said that it was sad and that was the end of it for me.

Am I really that heartless?

Angel Beats! is a pretty good anime, and I recommend that you watch it. If you are reading this post, but have not watched anime before, I wouldn’t recommend that this anime is the first one you watch though. Try Fruit Basket it is another really good anime that is great to start your anime ‘marathon’ on.

Anyway, thanks guys for sticking through this post with me. I'll have something related to Doctor Who in my next post so stick around!
